He rightly points out that the focus of investment in cures has been misguided: “What is needed is to harness evidence-backed studies and interventions that have been discussed, trialed, and tested in academic and policy settings, and to invest in the commercialization of these programs, delivering them in real-world settings.” While biopharma firms continue to develop attention as they make progress on drug therapies, not enough focus has been placed on care.
