The Moving Together program is a live-streaming group movement class designed for anyone who wants to support their brain health. Our classes were developed as personalized and supportive for all levels of activity and individuals who have experienced the full program have highlighted how they experience beneficial social, cognitive, and movement activities. Participants can attend the online classes alone or with a care partner or family member.
For some classes, it may be required for a care partner to join a participant with more-advanced memory loss or physical symptoms.
Care partners find the program helpful in managing stress, providing better care, and improving their bond with loved ones.
Our instructors are passionate about working with persons living with memory loss or individuals who want to be proactive about their brain health. All instructors have significant experience working with participants with Alzheimer's and dementia as well as group health and wellness support. They have training from individuals with over 20 years of experience in several movement modalities which have been studied to support brain health.
Through 15+ years of clinical research trials, Moving Together provides the scientific evidence to show improved clinical symptoms such as cognitive and/or physical function.
Our Moving Together program contributes to participants' quality of life and improved mobility by helping them:
- Stay Independent: Classes help relieve stress and improve mobility, balance, and coordination to enhance independence and peace of mind.
- Stay Healthy: Program participants benefit from improvements in physical function, attention, and alertness without the uncomfortable side effects often seen with popular medications.
- Stay Together: Classes help participants form healthy habits, connect well with others, and reduce feelings of social isolation while gaining a greater sense of well-being.
The program participants report less stress, fewer falls, and high overall satisfaction with the program.
